Why Support BCRF?

The Breast Cancer Research Foundation advances the world’s most promising research to eradicate breast cancer in our lifetime. By spending 91 cents of every dollar on research and public awareness, BCRF remains one of the nation’s most fiscally responsible charities. We currently support more than 200 researchers around the globe who are dedicated to six critical areas of focus—tumor biology, heredity & ethnicity, treatment, survivorship and metastasis—ensuring we learn more about breast cancer at every stage.

Your support funds so many of the world’s brightest minds and brings hope to the thousands of patients, survivors and families affected by the disease. We couldn’t do it without you, and we won’t stop until we achieve prevention and a cure for breast cancer.

It is the most common form of cancer in all women, regardless of race or ethnicity. It has impacted our closest loved ones, our friends, and our fellow Princetonians. Together, we can work towards finding a cure for this disease that affects so many women across the world. To help this race to find a cure for breast cancer, the Princeton Women's Swimming and Diving community is hosting our 10th annual Collegians Find the Cure 5k Run. Together, we have raised over $24,000 in the fight against breast cancer. All proceeds go to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

To help us help them, we kindly ask that you either:

  1. Bring $15 in cash to Frist's South Lawn the day of the event at 8:15am.
  2. Donate $12 (or more!) on our website: http://give.bcrfcure.org/collegiansfindthecure2017

If you donate in advance, the amount we ask is slightly lower ($3) than the race-day benchmark. And as our way of saying thanks to everyone who gives to the cause, both online and in-person on race day, we will reward you with a “Collegians Find the Cure 2017” T-shirt. You will receive this on the day of the race, while supplies last*.

Most participants also show additional support by running or walking a 5k course around Princeton campus.

We invite you to submit names to be listed on our "Honor Wall," dedicated to those who have faced or are facing breast cancer. Names can be submitted under the "In Honor of" section of the donation page; photos may also be emailed to: cmmchugh@princeton.edu

See you at Frist South Lawn 9am on September 23rd!

Registration begins at 8:15am

If you have questions, please contact: Colleen at cmmchugh@princeton.edu

*You do not need to run the race in order to receive the t-shirt. All who donate will be able to pick up a shirt at the Frist South Lawn on the day of the race.
